Oh hey. This is the first time I’ve actually been on tumblr while watching Supernatural. Episode 11, guys.
I’ll fight the urge to liveblog.
So, we went to a subway a couple days ago and when the guy asked what kind of cheese I wanted I meant to say “American, please.” But my voice got caught in my throat and I stuttered a little and I’m pretty sure it came out as “Ammurican.”
That was really great guys. So good. Amazing. Fantastic. I can’t even. Holey crap guys that was good.
I got a few decent pictures… I’ll post more when I get home, -tagged appropriately in case you are worried about spoilers or anything.
Holey crap that was great! I’ve got a couple videos even. That was so good though. I- just- yes. So good.
Also I’m really tired and my feet feel like dead fish that are still able to feel pain.
But THAT WAS REALLY GOOD.
You guys. We’ve been spotting starkids on the streets of Portland. Well… I haven’t. But everyone else has. If you want more frequent updates in which I spell names wrong, follow me on twitter or something.
@Ptchew
Leaving for Portland! And Apocolyptour! I’m really excited guys.
*puts on blue headband*
Let’s do this.
Captain Markas and the Legend of the lost Bounty
Staring: My brother, and a Gus
I have finally put my silent film on youtube… this was the one that was shown in a theater in Portland and stuff.
How it works:
There are a bunch of music tracks that you can choose from on the YSFF website. You pick one of the tracks, and you make a video to go along with it. You must have an opening title card, a closing title card, and at least one dialog card somewhere in the middle. The video must be 3 minutes long. Once everyone has made their videos, they send them in, and the judges choose 45 to be played in the theater with live musical accompaniment - some child prodigy organist who wrote all the music tracks plays an organ to your movie and it’s cool. It’s quite a fun thing.
Universal Sing-A-Long Songs: Vol. 2
We decided, since Vol. 1 Featured the whole universe, each volume after that would focus on a specific planet, starting with the sun and moving out until we hit Pluto. So here’s that.
Tracks:
- Lean on me
- Safety Dance
- Crazy Train
- Smoke on the Water
- Hotel California
- Sk8er Boi
- Satisfaction
- A Thousand Miles
- Born to be Wild
- I can see clearly now
- U Can’t Touch This
- Bye Bye Bye
- Carry on my Wayward Son
- Stacy’s Mom
- Wannabe
- I’ve had the time of my life
- Walking on Sunshine
Never Gonna Give You UpSuper secret bonus song!
Now to start Vol. 3!
Did I tell you that after the silent film festival people were going up and checking out the electronic organ? Because, well, it was a cool thing. And this one guy sits down and starts playing Mmm Whatcha Say, and I laughed so hard, because that song was obvious dedicated to those of us who did not win.
Oh yeah, also I just watched the Avengers again. And remembered to stay after the credits this time.
Good stuff. Very good stuff.
My silent film made it into the top 45 finalists, so they’re showing it in a theater in Portland with live musical accompaniment.
Tonight.
So… yeah. Gonna go watch that. See ya later, tumblr.
I got pretty star lights at the store today! Not that I don’t already have Christmas lights and peep-shaped lights in my room… But… STARSSS.
